What is PCO technology?
Puraclenz Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) uses a light-powered chemical process to generate a continuous army of ions to proactively break down pollutants outside of the purifier — mid-air and on surfaces. It can get to those hard-to-reach places that other filtration technologies simply can’t.
What is HEPA? And what do HEPA filters do?
HEPA stands for high-efficiency particulate air. HEPA filters are a type of pleated mechanical air filter that can remove 99.97%–99.99% of airborne particles down to 0.1 microns in size.
How often do I need to replace the filter?
The filter needs to be replaced every 4-6 months depending on the air quality of the installation space. This time duration assumes 24/7 continuous use. Our Core purifiers include indicator lights that automatically notify the user when to order and change the filter.
